This sword is long and bold, and has the appearance of a samurai sword worn by warriors in the late Tokugawa shogunate period. The itame hada is beautifully worked out without breaking down, and the gunome is mixed in with the notare hamon, which expresses a small wavy appearance, creating a very pleasant rhythmic hamon pattern.
