He has been a master swordsmith since childhood, assisting his grandfather in household chores. This piece reproduces the imposing figure of a sword with a powerful and well-defined hada, deep curvature, and gorgeous jukachoji-midare hamon. This work was entered by the judges for the 3rd New Japanese Sword Polishing and Exterior Sword Craftsmanship Exhibition.
