This piece is a relatively small Wakizashi, a joint work with Yoshimasa's master, Kunimasa, and was chosen with this size in mind for wearing in Daisho. The hada is a large kitae, as is the style of his master, with a powerful midare hamon that intersects the small and medium waves. Gunome and choji can be seen in the ha.
